In the 14th minute Clodoveo Hanot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Calvet's late challenge caught a La Banda F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silverio Calvet helped the player get up and apologised. La Banda F.C.'s Elias Pello played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Jakes in the 26th minute of play. Clodoveo Hanot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Jakes kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Alejandro Loramendi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lázaro Guerau. That made the score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. Hyperion's Clodoveo Hanot got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clodoveo Hanot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Elias Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in La Banda F.C.'s zone, Clodoveo Hanot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Pello came out of the goal and Clodoveo Hanot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silverio Calvet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elias Pello. La Banda F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Clodoveo Hanot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lázaro Guerau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Aguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Clodoveo Hanot took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Elias Pello to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Hyperion booed when La Banda F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Leizarraga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Leizarraga stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Hyperion's defenders and the ball went out. La Banda F.C. appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. La Banda F.C. made a substitution. Maximino Isidor replaced Severo Damario. Elias Pello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Jakes in the 82nd minute of the match. La Banda F.C. made a substitution. Silvano Galo replaced Angel Egun. If Lorenzo Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hugo Jakes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute.
