An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Benjamin Ubarna got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Ubarna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valentin Taurino was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Valentin Taurino was left in no man's land by his defense there! 26 minutes into the match, Salcedo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Ubarna came free, but Valentin Taurino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes in the game, Benjamin Ubarna fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valentin Taurino having to interfere. Gonzalo Perez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Silviano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Benjamin Ubarna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Taurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Salcedo FC's Valentin Taurino got control of the ball when Benjamin Ubarna tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Benjamin Ubarna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Valentin Taurino. The goal made the score 3-0. Benjamin Ubarna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Benjamin Ubarna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mendoza City F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Ubarna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Taurino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamin Ubarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute.
