Marcos Ioritz kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ichipuca's Marcos Ioritz got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 17 minutes, Elias Gauargi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EL BARTO and the Ichipuca players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to EL BARTO getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Elias Gauargi hit a great ball. Ichipuca's Fidel Olivar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Ichipuca from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Larpe in the 26th minute of play forced EL BARTO's goalkeeper Serafino Hermon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Everardo Larpe might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafino Hermon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everardo Larpe ran back to his position shaking his head. Serafino Hermon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Franco in the 30th minute of the match. Ichipuca's Fidel Olivar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Ichipuca from getting a goal against them. Serafino Hermon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Larpe in the 32nd minute of play. Serafino Hermon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Larpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Ichipuca's goalkeeper Fidel Olivar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Ekhi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Larpe in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Serafino Hermon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guaberto Innocenzio during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to EL BARTO getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Guaberto Innocenzio hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Everardo Larpe was the one to do the kick off. EL BARTO's Serafino Hermon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Larpe in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Ichipuca's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Azeari came free, but Fidel Olivar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Everardo Larpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Hermon having to interfere. EL BARTO's Serafino Hermon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save EL BARTO from getting a goal against them. Serafino Hermon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Larpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in EL BARTO's zone, Everardo Larpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafino Hermon came out of the goal and Everardo Larpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
