Celso Chucho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Intxixu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 4 minutes, Tomás Frances mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PAMPA FC and the Capioviciño players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes PAMPA FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Frances. Capioviciño's Enrique Berbiz got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celso Chucho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Intxixu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enrique Berbiz's late challenge caught a PAMPA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enrique Berbiz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of PAMPA FC booed when Capioviciño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Berbiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celso Chucho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Intxixu in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Enrique Berbiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso Chucho was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 24th minute, Enrique Berbiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celso Chucho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Emanuel Teyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Medero having to interfere. Isidoro Hondo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Donato Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Noe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Chucho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Berbiz in the 37th minute of the match. Enrique Berbiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso Chucho having to interfere. If Enrique Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The PAMPA FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Capioviciño were winning 0-1.

56 minutes into the match, PAMPA FC's goalkeeper Celso Chucho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Humberto Intxixu. Humberto Intxixu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Celso Chucho made a huge save. After 59 minutes, Arnoldo Noe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PAMPA FC and the Capioviciño players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th match minute, PAMPA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Noe to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Ostargi in the 63rd minute of play forced Capioviciño's goalkeeper Donato Medero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. PAMPA FC's Celso Chucho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Berbiz in the 64th minute of play. Celso Chucho came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Capioviciño's Enrique Berbiz. But to his dismay, Enrique Berbiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 77th minute Enrique Berbiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Chucho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PAMPA FC's Celso Chucho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save PAMPA FC from getting a goal against them. Enrique Berbiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Intxixu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Celso Chucho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Enrique Berbiz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celso Chucho. Enrique Berbiz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. When the final whistle sounded Capioviciño left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PAMPA FC.
