Joaquin Carbone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Leizarraga went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Banfield 1896 FC booed when Aldosivi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Aldosivi getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Iker Tallia hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Qian Kuan Bing got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edelmiro Bonadona kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Leizarraga got free with Joaquin Carbone in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes, Edelmiro Bonadona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Banfield 1896 FC and the Aldosivi players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Banfield 1896 FC's Edelmiro Bonadona got a free kick in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Qian Kuan Bing's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Carbone was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Santiago Leizarraga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Carbone. Aldosivi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santiago Leizarraga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Leandro Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Oxarra in the 42nd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Aldosivi's Joaquin Carbone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Leizarraga in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Gerardo Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aldosivi's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Oxarra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Savion breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquin Carbone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Leizarraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Carbone came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Banfield 1896 FC's Santiago Leizarraga. But to his dismay, Santiago Leizarraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Banfield 1896 FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Angel Ikatz 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Joaquin Carbone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Leizarraga's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Joaquin Carbone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Qian Kuan Bing in the 73rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qian Kuan Bing in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin Carbone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute Qian Kuan Bing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Carbone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Santiago Leizarraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banfield 1896 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Leizarraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Carbone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82ndth minute of the game Qian Kuan Bing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aldosivi's Joaquin Carbone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Aldosivi's goalkeeper Joaquin Carbone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joaquin Carbone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 95 minutes, Angel Ikatz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aldosivi and the Banfield 1896 FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
