But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basilio Frasquito couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Reyes FC's Celso Romildo got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Zacarias Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Deportivo U2's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Cai came free, but Aquilino Hori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Esdras took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafino Mogel. Serafino Mogel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Deportivo U2's Zacarias Medardo got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Reyes FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Aureliano Txatxu hit a great ball. After 32 minutes of play, Deportivo U2's Zacarias Medardo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafino Mogel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zacarias Medardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Mogel having to interfere. If Zacarias Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zacarias Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Faustino Esdras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Esdras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Mogel having to interfere. Zacarias Medardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafino Mogel having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faustino Esdras to make the kick off. A collision led to Reyes FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Maximiliano Cai hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Mauro Erlantz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reyes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Erlantz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Hori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zacarias Medardo in the 76thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Serafino Mogel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 79 minutes into the match, Zacarias Medardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafino Mogel. Reyes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zacarias Medardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Aquilino Hori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Cai, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Reyes FC's goalkeeper Serafino Mogel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Medardo. If Faustino Esdras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zacarias Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Serafino Mogel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Reyes FC's goalkeeper Serafino Mogel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Medardo. Serafino Mogel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Esdras in the 95th minute of play.
