Remigio Matro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simon Ixidor having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigio Matro in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Ixidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the match, Vida Loca's goalkeeper Simon Ixidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angelino Mikolas. 12 minutes into the match, Vida Loca's goalkeeper Simon Ixidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Napoleon Siwek. The crowd rose to their feet as Remigio Matro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Simon Ixidor. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Edgardo Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Barrionuevo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Chus in the 19th minute of play forced Lanus's goalkeeper Octavio Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Napoleon Siwek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Ixidor having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Silvano Distiratsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Ixidor made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Remigio Matro sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th match minute, Vida Loca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Tabor to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Remigio Matro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Remigio Matro sped through Vida Loca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Simon Ixidor. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigio Matro in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Ixidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vida Loca's Simon Ixidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Matro in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Remigio Matro in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Ixidor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximiliano Oto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Simon Ixidor came out and tried to block the shot, but Maximiliano Oto slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute. After 46 minutes of play, Vida Loca's Hernan Casomiro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavio Barrionuevo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lanus's Omar Blanco was substituted for Severo Corderro. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernan Casomiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Lanus's Octavio Barrionuevo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Lanus from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the game, Remigio Matro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Simon Ixidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Remigio Matro struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Simon Ixidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanus. 71 minutes into the game, Remigio Matro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Simon Ixidor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th match minute, Lanus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Oto to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Vida Loca's Sixto Rafe tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Hernan Casomiro in the 80th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Octavio Barrionuevo kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 5-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When Remigio Matro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Lanus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remigio Matro couldn't finish the play. Gervasio Luzea's late challenge caught a Vida Loca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gervasio Luzea helped the player get up and apologised. Gervasio Luzea hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 90 minutes in the game Sixto Rafe after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Octavio Barrionuevo. A very good opportunity. Remigio Matro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Ixidor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Vida Loca got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Chaime. Lanus's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
