To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PAMPA FC's John Ennegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Matro in the 38th minute of play. Daniel Gabino had several of the Lanus's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Octavio Barrionuevo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ruben Llanos's late challenge caught a Lanus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavio Barrionuevo came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by PAMPA FC's Daniel Gabino. But to his dismay, Daniel Gabino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. After having played for 96 minutes, Narciso Pirmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAMPA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Pirmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
