Spectators: 7115 (Terracing: 5338, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santiago Oalo started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute of the match, Robustiano Llorian got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicanor Katia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rodrigo Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Cambranes in the 8th minute of play. Santiago Oalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Nuñez having to interfere. If Robustiano Llorian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Higinio Kaiet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernardo Harriet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Katia having to interfere. The supporters of Rojo Cordobes booed when The West Coast of Clare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Claris didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rojo Cordobes's Rodrigo Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Cambranes in the 39th minute of play. Rodrigo Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Kaiet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrigo Nuñez came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by The West Coast of Clare's Santiago Oalo. But to his dismay, Santiago Oalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 47 minutes into the match, Santiago Oalo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Rojo Cordobes's Rodrigo Nuñez. Rodrigo Nuñez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Harriet to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Nuñez didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 1-3. In the 60th minute, Arnaldo Cambranes fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Rodrigo Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Oalo in the 63rd minute of play. Rojo Cordobes's Rodrigo Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Quintin in the 68th minute of play. Arnaldo Cambranes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Robustiano Llorian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Katia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vinicio Vela during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Vinicio Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Oalo in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Cambranes in the 86th minute of play forced Rojo Cordobes's goalkeeper Rodrigo Nuñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Cambranes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Rodrigo Nuñez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Rojo Cordobes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. The West Coast of Clare were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
