With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Pietro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Carlos Sugoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Cavour AFC booed when Barrios Bajos F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celedonio Pere didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Sugoi scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauricio Pietro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauricio Pietro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Sugoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Sugoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Pietro having to interfere. Barrios Bajos F.C.'s Mauricio Pietro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Manni in the 33rd minute of play. Carlos Sugoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Barrios Bajos F.C. getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tomas Umea hit a great ball. After 39 minutes Barrios Bajos F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celso Tolino who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Barrios Bajos F.C.'s goalie and right to Hector Brais. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Barrios Bajos F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Mauricio Pietro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Bento in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Carlos Sugoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Mauricio Pietro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos Sugoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Pietro having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Sugoi was the one to do the kick off. Cavour AFC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Barrios Bajos F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celso Tolino took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Celso Tolino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mauricio Pietro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Carlos Sugoi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Mauricio Pietro 58 minutes into the match. Federico Feliz charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Federico Feliz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st match minute, Barrios Bajos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Feliz to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Sugoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mauricio Pietro. That made the score 0-8 in the 71 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Sugoi in the 81st minute of play forced Barrios Bajos F.C.'s goalkeeper Mauricio Pietro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 played minutes Barrios Bajos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Umea. After 83 minutes, Oscar Fonda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cavour AFC and the Barrios Bajos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oscar Fonda hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Barrios Bajos F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carlos Sugoi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Virgilio Bento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mauricio Pietro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Carlos Sugoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mauricio Pietro. The goal made the score 0-9. Albino Manni kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. A hard shot 96 in the game by Virgilio Bento from a close distance when the talented Mauricio Pietro managed to make a qualified save. Barrios Bajos F.C.'s players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded Cavour AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barrios Bajos F.C..
