Guatimozín FC's Tomás Elixio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Edur in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 minutes, Florencio Sadurni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albatroz e Rufa and the Guatimozín FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florencio Sadurni hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Tomás Elixio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Sadurni in the 9th minute of the match. Ruperto Edur struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Tomás Elixio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albatroz e Rufa. If Florencio Sadurni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Albatroz e Rufa getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Patricio Sayvion hit a great ball. Maximiliano Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Remigio Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florencio Sadurni in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Elixio saved Guatimozín FC from getting behind. Maximiliano Gaufred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Lopez having to interfere. Florencio Sadurni struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Tomás Elixio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Albatroz e Rufa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Edur in the 34th minute of play forced Guatimozín FC's goalkeeper Tomás Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Ubaldo Rosalio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Elixio skillfully saved the ball. Florencio Sadurni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Elixio having to interfere. After some careless play in the Guatimozín FC defense, Gilberto Navarro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomás Elixio. The Guatimozín FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomás Elixio should have stopped the shot. After the first half Albatroz e Rufa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximiliano Gaufred stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Edur got free with Tomás Elixio in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruperto Edur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tomás Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, one of Guatimozín FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guatimozín FC. Tomás Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Sadurni in the 83rd minute of play. Tomás Elixio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruperto Edur's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute Florencio Sadurni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Elixio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 minutes, Ernesto Arano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guatimozín FC and the Albatroz e Rufa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Florencio Sadurni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tomás Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Albatroz e Rufa left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guatimozín FC.
