The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Viamonte's Rodrigo Martino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cesar Blasco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramiro Jerano to make the kick off. Cesar Blasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Arbaszewski in the 52nd minute of play. Rodrigo Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Blasco came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Viamonte's Kacper Arbaszewski. But to his dismay, Kacper Arbaszewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Rodrigo Martino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Blasco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Cesar Blasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Martino in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Viamonte fully deserved thier win.
