When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Emesto made a kick off. La Esperanza Atletico's Horacio Aires got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Turgay Acun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Anier Rius made a huge save. When Segundo Colas fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Esperanza Atletico's protests and gave Segundo Colas a yellow card for diving instead. It was joyful for the audience to see Samuel Igon dribbling past the opponents defense line in the 93rd played minute and put the ball into the net. 1-1.
