The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Negro Olmedo FC got a freekick which was hit by Albert Alkema. In the 21st minute, Urbano Ralondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrian Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Jesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Jesco in the 34th minute of play forced Negro Olmedo FC's goalkeeper Adrian Shepherd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fermin Tercero lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 36th minute, one of Negro Olmedo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Negro Olmedo FC. Guillermo Jaume could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Gerardo Filipo made a huge save. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind RACING DE CORDOBA's goalkeeper Gerardo Filipo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Urbano Refugio kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Jaume made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Guillermo Jaume left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Negro Olmedo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Alonzo Toribio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Adrian Shepherd made a huge save. When Rigoberto Rico fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RACING DE CORDOBA's protests and gave Rigoberto Rico a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes RACING DE CORDOBA got a freekick which was hit by Urbano Ralondo. Guillermo Jaume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Gerardo Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Victorino Gitano managed to get in a good position for a shot. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Negro Olmedo FC reached it. Primitivo Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Urbano Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute, Eleuterio Flor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Negro Olmedo FC fully deserved thier win.
