Celestino Kismi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Higinio Casomiro made a huge save. After 10 minutes, Eleuterio Gonzo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Obligado AFC and the Chaco For Ever ! players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andres Ortzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiburcio Gonsalvo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Higinio Casomiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Behe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Gonsalvo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dionisio Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Obligado AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Chinto came free, but Tiburcio Gonsalvo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chaco For Ever !'s Baldomiro Sotero got a free kick in the 27th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Omar Urritz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Obligado AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Urritz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Andres Ortzi came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Chaco For Ever ! fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Ortzi couldn't finish the play. Tiburcio Gonsalvo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervasio Chinto went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tiburcio Gonsalvo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Chinto in the 42nd minute of play. Ulryk Lukasik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiburcio Gonsalvo having to interfere. After some careless play in the Obligado AFC defense, Gervasio Chinto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tiburcio Gonsalvo. The Obligado AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tiburcio Gonsalvo should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Kismi to strike the kick off in the second half. Gervasio Chinto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Tiburcio Gonsalvo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eustaquio Behe's late challenge caught a Chaco For Ever !'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustaquio Behe helped the player get up and apologised. Eustaquio Behe kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Gervasio Chinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Tiburcio Gonsalvo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chaco For Ever !'s Gervasio Chinto got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Dionisio Servando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Higinio Casomiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateo Rio, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Gervasio Chinto took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiburcio Gonsalvo. Tiburcio Gonsalvo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Obligado AFC's zone, Gervasio Chinto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Gonsalvo came out of the goal and Gervasio Chinto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Behe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Higinio Casomiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiburcio Gonsalvo made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Gervasio Chinto sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Dionisio Servando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chaco For Ever ! fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. If Eleuterio Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Obligado AFC's Tiburcio Gonsalvo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Obligado AFC from getting a goal against them.
