Bernardino Kaxen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Gaskon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Maore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Obeko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Baldomero Obeko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Maore, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Gabriel Maore was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 45th minute. Rosario's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Rolfi FC's Baldomero Obeko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Rolfi FC from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Genaro Arnau made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Rosario got a corner. Rolfi FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabriel Maore ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Rosario's corner Delmiro Dominic fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Baldomero Obeko quite easily take care of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Rosario's goalkeeper Bernardino Kaxen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Raulo. After 62 minutes, Bartolo Che mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rosario and the Rolfi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rosario fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Rolfi FC a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marciano Senin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rosario's Bernardino Kaxen. 1-1. 70 minutes into the match, Rosario's Julio Tiadoro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baldomero Obeko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Genaro Arnau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baldomero Obeko came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rosario's Bartolo Che. But to his dismay, Bartolo Che quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Isidoro Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Kaxen having to interfere. Genaro Arnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Baldomero Obeko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Rosario's Genaro Arnau nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Obeko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Isidoro Medina hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute Placido Gaskon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Kaxen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
