In the 48th minute, Manuel Argider ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Aznar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teo Dacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Nildo Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jeremias Serafo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 60 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rodrigo Aznar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Teo Dacio took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Gregorio Hernando to make any attempt to save it. Teo Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregorio Hernando having to interfere. After 69 played minutes URUGUAY got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Frances. With a little luck, URUGUAY's Gregorio Hernando got control of the ball when Nildo Maranhense tried to sneak it across the goal line. Teo Dacio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 79th minute. Kakaroto FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nildo Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gregorio Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute of the match Ermegildo Frances shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Aznar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rodrigo Aznar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Serafo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Isusko was shown his second yellow card after 90 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Gregorio Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teo Dacio in the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Luis Lano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. URUGUAY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kakaroto FC the free kick. The supporters of Kakaroto FC booed when URUGUAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Lano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kakaroto FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
