In the 5th minute, Delmar Unax made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Abel. Carimostris F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 9th minute of the match Mariano Oxarra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernardo Abel skillfully saved the ball. After 9 played minutes Carimostris F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Sal. After a defensive mix-up in Chaco AFC's zone, Victoriano Rodas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Orzaize came out of the goal and Victoriano Rodas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victoriano Rodas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Joel Orzaize made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ladislao Dubardo in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardo Abel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Delmar Unax's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Abel was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Chaco AFC's Joel Orzaize played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Abascal in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carimostris F.C.'s Maximino Urtungo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Bernardo Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Unax in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Carimostris F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Delmar Unax came free, but Bernardo Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chaco AFC's Joel Orzaize proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Chaco AFC from getting a goal against them. Dario Palos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Abel. Carimostris F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Delmar Unax left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chaco AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Delmar Unax got free with Bernardo Abel in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Delmar Unax sped through Carimostris F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardo Abel. Chaco AFC's Jesus Sayvion shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bernardo Abel but with some difficulty. If Guido Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Unax in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernardo Abel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 72nd minute, Ladislao Dubardo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bernardo Abel. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 76th minute, Victoriano Rodas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Victoriano Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Chaco AFC fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Chaco AFC's Delmar Unax looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joel Orzaize came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Carimostris F.C.'s Victoriano Rodas. But to his dismay, Victoriano Rodas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Carimostris F.C.'s Bernardo Abel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Carimostris F.C. from getting a goal against them. The Carimostris F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Carimostris F.C.'s Victoriano Rodas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 93 played minutes Carimostris F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Sal. The Chaco AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chaco AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
