The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herminio Abel to strike the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the El mirasol defense, Jean-Luc Lukavec kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximino Cugat. The El mirasol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Cugat should have stopped the shot. 83 minutes in the game Gervasio Merexildo after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Fausto Dacio.
