The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Ivan Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tehuelches's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Toribio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 4 played minutes Ranchillo got a freekick which was hit by Guido Abechuco. In the 6th match minute, Ranchillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Argina to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Aquilino Bernat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Enetz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. José Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ranchillo's José Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Nevada's late challenge caught a Ranchillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Nevada helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Aurelio Nevada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Paulin kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match, Aquilino Bernat got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonathan Enetz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Lizer in the 31st minute of play forced Tehuelches's goalkeeper Silvestre Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tehuelches's Silvestre Quinton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Leal in the 32nd minute of play. Silvestre Quinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erubiel Mero in the 35th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Mero in the 37th minute of play forced Tehuelches's goalkeeper Silvestre Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Tehuelches getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Narciso Abeita hit a great ball. José Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Silvestre Quinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Ranchillo's Erubiel Mero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvestre Quinton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Leal to make the kick off. Jonathan Enetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Palben in the 52nd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Ranchillo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tehuelches:s goal. Aurelio Nevada shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After 57 played minutes Ranchillo got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Pinto. José Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Silvestre Quinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Gilberto Palben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Enetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Tehuelches getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aurelio Nevada hit a great ball. If Erubiel Mero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 played minutes Ranchillo got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Fe. In the 93rd minute, Pablo Fe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Enetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Palben in the 95th minute of play. The Tehuelches players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
