Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cristobal Grabiel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In a very dangerous position, a player in Marabotto FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 5th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Edgardo Boni, was totally fooled by Guqueri AFC's Adan Virila, who 7 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 12th minute Genaro Odon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristobal Grabiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Mantzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Vedillo having to interfere. The supporters of Marabotto FC booed when Guqueri AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Foro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Eustaquio Giraldo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesar Vedillo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th minute Gogo Mantzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Marabotto FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Boni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guqueri AFC's Zeledon Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Marabotto FC booed when Guqueri AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Foro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Herminio Silvino fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marabotto FC's protests and gave Herminio Silvino a yellow card for diving instead. Herminio Silvino hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Baltasar Fiz's late challenge caught a Marabotto FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltasar Fiz helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes Guqueri AFC got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Fiz. After recieving a nice pass, Marabotto FC's Gerardo Cordarrel tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Zeledon Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marabotto FC's goalkeeper Edgardo Boni, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zeledon Ramos struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Edgardo Boni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guqueri AFC. In the 73rd minute Cristobal Grabiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Boni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Marabotto FC defense, Cristobal Grabiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Boni. The Marabotto FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Boni should have stopped the shot. Edgardo Boni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Grabiel in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute, one of Guqueri AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Guqueri AFC. When the match had been going on for 89 minutes, Marabotto FC's Gerardo Cordarrel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Cesar Vedillo. Marabotto FC's Edgardo Boni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Grabiel in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Genaro Odon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marabotto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Odon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Vedillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristobal Grabiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Boni having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Guqueri AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
