An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Iratxo in the 18th minute of play forced La Banda Roja's goalkeeper Elias Laurendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Banda Roja's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucio Santos was slow to take the kick. During this time Malutron FC's players had a chance to rest. Andres Iratxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elias Laurendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Jerano in the 27th minute of play. Waldemar Steinberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Ross, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Kevin Ross had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldemar Steinberg. Malutron FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Ross was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. After some careless play in the Malutron FC defense, Kevin Ross kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Steinberg. The Malutron FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Steinberg should have stopped the shot. La Banda Roja's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
