In the 19th minute, Hector Anaya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 27 played minutes Ezeiza FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Rico. After 31 played minutes Manantiales got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Quentin. Hector Anaya struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Cristian Santiago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ezeiza FC. Ezeiza FC's Mario Cuarto got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mario Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cristian Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hector Anaya came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ezeiza FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Anaya couldn't finish the play. Cristian Santiago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Anaya in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isidoro Quentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Anaya in the 51st minute of play. Sebastian Rico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Santiago having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Cuarto in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Santiago saved Manantiales from getting behind. Cristian Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Anaya, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Ezeiza FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
