Sixto Lain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodoro Txerran in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sixto Lain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Argentina Sub-20 defense, Santiago Berasko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sixto Lain. The Argentina Sub-20 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sixto Lain should have stopped the shot. Horacio Romano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gogo Bernat having to make a save. After having played for 41 minutes, Clemente Ixaka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iguazú's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Ixaka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teodoro Txerran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Lain having to interfere. Gogo Bernat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horacio Romano in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Horacio Romano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Cesario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Bernat having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Horacio Romano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gogo Bernat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iguazú's Gogo Bernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Romano in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Iguazú's Gervasio Goren got a free kick in the 59th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Cesario in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gogo Bernat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the match, Iguazú's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Romano came free, but Gogo Bernat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gervasio Goren hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Argentina Sub-20's Sixto Lain got control of the ball when Teodoro Txerran tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Txerran in the 81st minute of play forced Argentina Sub-20's goalkeeper Sixto Lain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Argentina Sub-20 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Iguazú's performance. The match ended with a win for Iguazú.
