Spectators: 7031 (Terracing: 5343, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Oscar Cordarin started the match with the kick off. Kiur Uusen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, Oscar Cordarin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Máximo Morales came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Barrialito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Máximo Morales couldn't finish the play. Kiur Uusen's late challenge caught a Empalme's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiur Uusen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, Barrialito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kiur Uusen to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Empalme's Edelmiro Araoz got control of the ball when Daniel Bernal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Máximo Morales reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edelmiro Araoz. The goal made the score 1-0. Barrialito AFC's Daniel Bernal got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Empalme's Edelmiro Araoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Empalme from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Empalme's Oscar Cordarin got a free kick in the 24th minute. Edelmiro Araoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Bernal in the 27th minute. Empalme's Edelmiro Araoz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Empalme from getting a goal against them. Daniel Bernal took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edelmiro Araoz. Edelmiro Araoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Daniel Bernal charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Bernal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Empalme booed when Barrialito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edelmiro Araoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Bernal in the 39th minute. Edelmiro Araoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máximo Morales, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Daniel Bernal made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 46thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Edelmiro Araoz would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Empalme's Edelmiro Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Bernal in the 52nd minute of play. Máximo Morales recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Bernal in the 58th minute of play forced Empalme's goalkeeper Edelmiro Araoz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oscar Cordarin's late challenge caught a Barrialito AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Cordarin helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes Empalme got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Cordarin. After 64 minutes of play, Barrialito AFC's Daniel Bernal made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Araoz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Daniel Bernal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Edelmiro Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Empalme defense, Daniel Bernal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Araoz. The Empalme fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Araoz should have stopped the shot. Edelmiro Araoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Bernal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute Daniel Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Araoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Empalme's Edelmiro Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiur Uusen in the 78th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Bernal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Araoz was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Edelmiro Araoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Bernal in the 81st minute of the match. Edelmiro Araoz came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Barrialito AFC's Daniel Bernal. But to his dismay, Daniel Bernal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When Máximo Morales came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Barrialito AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Máximo Morales couldn't finish the play. Empalme's Edelmiro Araoz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Bernal in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Máximo Morales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Edelmiro Araoz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Barrialito AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
