The referee showed Felix Perfecto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Payogasta getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Felix Perfecto hit a great ball. Ezequiel Ezkerra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodrigo Cordario came out and tried to block the shot, but Ezequiel Ezkerra slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 8th minute. After 12 played minutes Payogasta got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Macario. Ambrosio Hibai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Madaleno having to interfere. Payogasta's Rodrigo Cordario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Ezkerra in the 16th minute of play. Lisandro Madaleno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Eriberto Llope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lisandro Madaleno came out of the goal and Daniel Macario tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute, Marcelo Romildo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Ezkerra took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Cordario. Rodrigo Cordario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rivadavia's goalkeeper Lisandro Madaleno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The wind increased when Ezequiel Ezkerra made the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Hibai was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Payogasta's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lisandro Madaleno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Macario in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Perfecto got free with Lisandro Madaleno in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Macario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rivadavia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Daniel Macario scored to the left of an out of position Lisandro Madaleno, making the score, 2-2. Daniel Macario hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Felix Perfecto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rivadavia! Rivadavia:s Lisandro Madaleno showed great skill when he stopped Ambrosio Hibai:s penalty. Rodrigo Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Llope in the 70th minute of play. Felix Perfectos short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Lisandro Madaleno to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felix Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Madaleno having to interfere. Ezequiel Ezkerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ambrosio Hibai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Cordario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Llope in the 88th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Perfecto got free with Lisandro Madaleno in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lisandro Madaleno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Perfecto in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Fausto Cordarryl notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Payogasta's Rodrigo Cordario. Rodrigo Cordario was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filiberto Ubelteso kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Daniel Macario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Payogasta's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Macario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lisandro Madaleno breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Rivadavia were victorious despite being under pressure from Payogasta for much of the match.
