Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Gonzalo Lauro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Timoteo Gimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Robustiano Ulizes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sundblad FC and the Rivadavia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Rivadavia booed when Sundblad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Ulizes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Lauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Ezkerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Ezkerra in the 25th minute of play forced Sundblad FC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Lauro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Ezkerra in the 27th minute of play. Rivadavia's Eriberto Llope got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 33 in the game by Ezequiel Ezkerra from a close distance when the talented Gonzalo Lauro managed to make a qualified save. Sundblad FC's players were relieved. The supporters of Rivadavia booed when Sundblad FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Ulizes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes of play, Rivadavia's Ezequiel Ezkerra made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gonzalo Lauro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute, Rivadavia's Ezequiel Ezkerra ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gonzalo Lauro. Gonzalo Lauro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natalio Crescencio was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Sundblad FC got a freekick which was hit by Robustiano Ulizes. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Ezkerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gonzalo Lauro was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Rivadavia's Eriberto Llope got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sundblad FC's zone, Esteban Bidun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Lauro came out of the goal and Esteban Bidun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sundblad FC's Gonzalo Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ezequiel Ezkerra in the 65th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Ezkerra in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Lauro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gonzalo Lauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ezequiel Ezkerra's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Ezequiel Ezkerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonzalo Lauro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Fausto Cordarryl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gonzalo Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lisandro Madaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Crescencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
