An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Nofre in the 4th minute of play forced Las Fulanas's goalkeeper Baltasar Mendiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Segundo Nofre's late challenge caught a Las Fulanas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Segundo Nofre helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Los Triperos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Nofre to maneuver through the defense. Dante Urre charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dante Urre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dante Urre hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Jacobo Jerano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Mendiko having to interfere. Segundo Nofre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guido Vadalá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Baltasar Mendiko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Las Fulanas got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Orland. The supporters of Los Triperos booed when Las Fulanas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Nofre struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Baltasar Mendiko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Triperos. Rodolfo Orland kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Guillermo Guillem struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Las Fulanas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Triperos the free kick. In the 41st minute, Baldomero Galeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Mauro Jurdan made a precise shot to the right of Neil Pearl. Los Triperos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. A collision led to Los Triperos getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Segundo Nofre hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guillermo Guillem made a kick off. In the 51st minute, one of Los Triperos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Triperos. Neil Pearl had in the 53rdth minute some difficulties stopping Marcelo Muc's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Marcelo Muc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Neil Pearl. Los Triperos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Muc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 56th minute Segundo Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Mendiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th play minute Jacobo Jerano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Baltasar Mendiko. 2-2. Baltasar Mendiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Nofre in the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Las Fulanas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. Baltasar Mendiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Nofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 96 minutes of play, Los Triperos's Jimeno Cordearo made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltasar Mendiko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Los Triperos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
