With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Jerold in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aquiles Balesio saved NeuqueN StallionS from getting behind. Aquiles Balesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramiro Hever in the 19th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes NeuqueN StallionS got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Anaya. In the 22nd minute, Aldo Eutropio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute of the match Arturo Tiso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aquiles Balesio skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in NeuqueN StallionS's zone, Ramiro Hever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Balesio came out of the goal and Ramiro Hever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Jerold charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Jerold the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Talleres de Córdoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Jerold to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to NeuqueN StallionS getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Umberto de Queirós hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oséias Negri in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Fiz saved Talleres de Córdoba from getting behind. Oséias Negri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Basilio Fiz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Basilio Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Talleres de Córdoba getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Arturo Tiso hit a great ball. Guido Abarca kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Arnoldo Goito sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Talleres de Córdoba's Basilio Fiz didn't even have to move. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramiro Hever made a kick off. Aquiles Balesio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Hever in the 53rd minute of play. Baltasar Anaya's late challenge caught a Talleres de Córdoba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltasar Anaya helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Talleres de Córdoba booed when NeuqueN StallionS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Anaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes NeuqueN StallionS got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Negri. Oséias Negri struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Basilio Fiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NeuqueN StallionS. If Oséias Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baltasar Anaya kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 82 minutes, Ramiro Hever managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Talleres de Córdoba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Hever was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When NeuqueN StallionS's Oséias Negri in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a left leg Basilio Fiz saved Talleres de Córdoba from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséias Negri in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilio Fiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Basilio Fiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oséias Negri's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The Talleres de Córdoba supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Talleres de Córdoba would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
