The audience was convinced that Raimundo Nalo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teobaldo Cidro was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Genaro Lore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teobaldo Cidro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Aquiles Maju showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Nalo made a kick off. Santiago Romano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Argento's Victorino Ado was substituted for Rodrigo Hitz. Aquiles Maju made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when David Pabla sent off a good shot on target.
