The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Willis Goddard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardo Lizer in the 3rd minute of the match. Marcelo Pereyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Ofelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Maquina Roja's Eliseo Harri shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 11th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcelo Pereyra but with some difficulty. Damaso Ofelio had several of the Net Space Cyber World's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Marcelo Pereyra as he didn't even see the shot coming. Per-Oskar Vibjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Marcelo Pereyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damaso Ofelio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Marcelo Pereyra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Norberto Lertxun hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When La Maquina Roja's Damaso Ofelio in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Net Space Cyber World's goalie prevented a goal. Ivan Karmel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The wind increased when Damaso Ofelio made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Dante Benino managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Maquina Roja's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Benino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Pereyra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58thth minute of the game Per-Oskar Vibjörnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Net Space Cyber World's Marcelo Pereyra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Net Space Cyber World's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Ofelio came free, but Marcelo Pereyra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Pereyra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damaso Ofelio's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Marcelo Pereyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Oskar Vibjörnsson in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Dionisio Illart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Maquina Roja's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Net Space Cyber World the free kick. Dionisio Illart kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Norberto Lertxun hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Damaso Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Marcelo Pereyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damaso Ofelio in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Pereyra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Per-Oskar Vibjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Pereyra having to interfere. Willis Goddard made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Ricardo Lizer sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Maquina Roja fans cheered their team off the field, for while Net Space Cyber World had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
