After having played for 21 minutes, Valer Abrudan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A Nueva Chicago's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valer Abrudan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27thth minute of the game Valer Abrudan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lavalle AFC's Hugo Banegas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugo Banegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Restu in the 28th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, C.A Nueva Chicago's Valer Abrudan made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Banegas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valer Abrudan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hugo Banegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Victorino Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hugo Banegas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Restu in the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to Lavalle AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Godfredo Argina hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valer Abrudan to strike the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Lavalle AFC got a freekick which was hit by Victorino Marquez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valer Abrudan got free with Hugo Banegas in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abelardo Gonza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Guillermo Monico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lionel Sigal, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Hugo Banegas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Valer Abrudan in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugo Banegas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Valer Abrudan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Banegas having to interfere. Hugo Banegas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Bastia in the 88th minute of play. Valer Abrudan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Banegas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Adan Txurio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Abelardo Gonza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over C.A Nueva Chicago could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lavalle AFC throughout the match.
