Spectators: 6919 (Terracing: 5296, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Modesto Polentzi started the match with the kick off. Jacinto Macario came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Katrinita fc's Modesto Polentzi. But to his dismay, Modesto Polentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Modesto Polentzi in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jacinto Macario, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Valentin Caetano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacinto Macario came out and tried to block the shot, but Valentin Caetano slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 8th minute. In the 13th minute Valentin Caetano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Macario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Denis Kismi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Egoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Katrinita fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifacio Austin to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Modesto Polentzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Katrinita fc's Valentin Caetano got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Denis Kismi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Egoitz. Katrinita fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Denis Kismi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 29th minute, Maximo Nataniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Modesto Polentzi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jacinto Macario. That made the score 3-1 in the 31 minute of play. If Maximo Nataniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Modesto Polentzi got free with Jacinto Macario in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denis Kismi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Placido Egoitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Modesto Polentzi lined in a short shot 5-1 behind a frustrated Jacinto Macario. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Rosio was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Modesto Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Macario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The New Team's Jacinto Macario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Polentzi in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Maximo Nataniel made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Macario. The New Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Modesto Polentzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the game, Katrinita fc's Modesto Polentzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jacinto Macario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. In the 76th minute, Maximo Nataniel made a precise shot to the right of Jacinto Macario. The New Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. Jacinto Macario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Polentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in The New Team's zone, Valentin Caetano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Macario came out of the goal and Valentin Caetano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Modesto Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Macario having to interfere. After having played for 83 minutes, Baldomero Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Katrinita fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baldomero Austin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Modesto Polentzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Polentzi in the 95th minute of play forced The New Team's goalkeeper Jacinto Macario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Katrinita fc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
