After a defensive mix-up in SFC 2008's zone, Aquiles Orzaize stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronald Mc Donald came out of the goal and Aquiles Orzaize tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Froilan Peyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ronald Mc Donald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Froilan Peyo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Froilan Peyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronald Mc Donald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Ildefonso Aurre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronald Mc Donald was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Ciriaco Pereyra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Tuste having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Ildefonso Aurre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Perspicasia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Aurre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Atletico Perspicasia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
