Almona FC's Rolando Tibalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Sokolski in the 6th minute of play. Froilan Senon struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Leonides Natal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almona FC. 15 minutes into the game, Dé Amaral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gaston Acevedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Almona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Sokolski came free, but Rolando Tibalt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gaspar Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaston Acevedo's goalkeeper Leonides Natal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Almona FC's zone, Konrad Sokolski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Tibalt came out of the goal and Konrad Sokolski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Konrad Sokolski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Almona FC's Rolando Tibalt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raul Egoi was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konrad Sokolski made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Gaston Acevedo's Konrad Sokolski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Tibalt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Konrad Sokolski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 57th minute, Konrad Sokolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rolando Tibalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Sokolski in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Konrad Sokolski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Tibalt was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game.
