La Habana FC:s Primitivo Bastian showed great skill when he stopped Ernesto Micael:s penalty. 5 minutes into the game, Garat's Ernesto Micael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Primitivo Bastian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Jacinto Lizardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 15 minutes, Jacinto Lizardi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Lizardi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garat's Jacinto Lizardi got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iker Refugio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Garat's Jacinto Lizardi in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, Garat's Nicolas Flores got control of the ball when Mateo Misael tried to sneak it across the goal line. Godfredo Figueroa's late challenge caught a Garat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Godfredo Figueroa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd minute, Godfredo Figueroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Primitivo Bastian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Refugio in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Garat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Micael to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute of the match, Carmelo Eguntsenti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicolas Flores was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iker Refugio was the one to do the kick off. Iker Refugio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Primitivo Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Iker Refugio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Primitivo Bastian was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Jacinto Lizardi could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Primitivo Bastian however easily saved by the left post. Iker Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Bastian having to interfere. Jacinto Lizardi scored 0-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Primitivo Bastian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Severiano Bernard kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. When Jacinto Lizardi came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Garat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Lizardi couldn't finish the play. Godfredo Figueroa hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ernesto Micael was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Garat's Ernesto Micael got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the game, Jacinto Lizardi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Primitivo Bastian. Jacinto Lizardi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Jacinto Lizardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Lizardi got free with Primitivo Bastian in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, La Habana FC's Primitivo Bastian got control of the ball when Jacinto Lizardi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Iker Refugio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
