The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Oktay Yürük recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Oktay Yürük managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aragonés's supporters rose to their feet, but Oktay Yürük was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Placido Vincente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eustaquio Abaunza kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Evaristo Lizer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Dimo, 1-0. Pedro Dimo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Horado in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Lizer got free with Pedro Dimo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Norberto Haitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 21 minutes, Gonzalo Lucian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pura Sangre FC and the Aragonés players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pura Sangre FC's Gonzalo Lucian got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Oktay Yürük ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Placido Vincente was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Pedro Dimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Haitz in the 30th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, Saverio Elequemedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aragonés's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pura Sangre FC the free kick. In the 31st minute, Saverio Elequemedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Aragonés's zone, Evaristo Lizer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Dimo came out of the goal and Evaristo Lizer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonzalo Lucian made in the 37th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Aragonés's Cirilo Cebrian. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 52 minutes, Diego Ilazki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aragonés and the Pura Sangre FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute Oktay Yürük shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Vincente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Evaristo Lizer made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Dimo. Aragonés's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Aragonés's Pedro Dimo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Horado in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Evaristo Lizer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Dimo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pura Sangre FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Oktay Yürük scored to the left of an out of position Placido Vincente, making the score, 4-2. In the 77th match minute, Pura Sangre FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Lizer to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Dimo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Lizer, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Pedro Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Lizer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92ndth minute of the game Moises Horado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aragonés's Pedro Dimo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pura Sangre FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
