After a rather tough play, Los de ONCE FC's Severiano Pereyra got a free kick in the 5th minute. The supporters of Los de ONCE FC booed when Corleone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Inocente didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Los de ONCE FC's zone, Sergio Aguilera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Sindo came out of the goal and Sergio Aguilera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Sindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Inocente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Corleone's Delmar Urtsin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcos Sindo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Los de ONCE FC's Marcos Sindo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Asteri in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Delmar Urtsin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Sindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of Corleone booed when Los de ONCE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Nalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haroldo Ospin's late challenge caught a Corleone's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Ospin helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Los de ONCE FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Ospin. After having played for 24 minutes, Abel Oskitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corleone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Oskitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Delmar Urtsin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Los de ONCE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Asteri came free, but Marcos Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delmar Urtsin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Sindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Severiano Inocente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Asteri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcos Sindo having to make a save. When Delmar Urtsin came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Corleone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Urtsin couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Severiano Inocente recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filomeno Felipo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Sergio Aguilera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Los de ONCE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Aguilera came free, but Marcos Sindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Sindo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmar Urtsin in the 63rd minute. Erubiel Aritza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 71st minute, Sergio Aguilera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcos Sindo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Delmar Urtsin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 75 minute of play. Marcos Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Inocente in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Guaberto Palos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Sindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Los de ONCE FC's zone, Erubiel Aritza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Sindo came out of the goal and Erubiel Aritza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Sindo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Urtsin in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Venancio Asteri notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Los de ONCE FC's Marcos Sindo. Marcos Sindo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Corleone's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
