After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Albert Stravin managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Stravin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Burutzagi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albert Stravin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Burutzagi having to interfere. Duff Team's Fermin Burutzagi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Stravin in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Ignacio Jerold got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albert Stravin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fermin Burutzagi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fermin Burutzagi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albert Stravin's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Fermin Burutzagi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Jerold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Agustin Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Duff Team booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Arotza struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Victor Gustau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duff Team. In the 32nd match minute, River Plate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Laurin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Duff Team's zone, Ignacio Jerold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Burutzagi came out of the goal and Ignacio Jerold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Stravin in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fermin Burutzagi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fermin Burutzagi came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by River Plate's Albert Stravin. But to his dismay, Albert Stravin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2.

The wind increased when Albert Stravin made the kick off in the second half. Fermin Burutzagi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Stravin in the 53rd minute of play. Agustin Arotza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Gustau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Amado Dunixi struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Victor Gustau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Duff Team. Agustin Arotza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duff Team's Fermin Burutzagi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Duff Team from getting a goal against them. Erubiel Perrando made a great header on River Plate's corner, it was just that Duff Team's Fermin Burutzagi managed to reach the ball for a save. Albert Stravin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 78thth minute tested the skills of Fermin Burutzagi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Agustin Arotza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the game, Albert Stravin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Duff Team the free kick. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind River Plate's goalkeeper Victor Gustau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. River Plate's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
