Teodosio Bilintxs short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Luisito Fresco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Leguizamón's zone, Saverio Montay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Fresco came out of the goal and Saverio Montay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luisito Fresco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Saverio Montay showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 70 minute of play. If Zeledon Eladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Bilintx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luisito Fresco having to make a save. Saverio Montay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Leguizamón booed when Los Gugatzus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saverio Montay didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Teodosio Bilintx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Los Gugatzus left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Leguizamón.
