Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Sagrario to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute, Augusto Cebo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Albino Suero charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
