After 10 minutes, Paulo Cristos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huracan de Salta and the Xeneize FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Paulo Cristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Quinteros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Nuxila, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Clemente Quinteros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anselmo Sidro went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Isaac Aguilera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mauricio Perrando came out and tried to block the shot, but Isaac Aguilera slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Huracan de Salta's goal looked a bit too open when Corrado Magno came free, but Clemente Quinteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Xeneize FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jorge Oro hit a great ball. When Diego Acosta came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Huracan de Salta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Acosta couldn't finish the play. After 45 played minutes Xeneize FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Oro. Mauricio Perrando came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Huracan de Salta's Diego Acosta. But to his dismay, Diego Acosta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Acosta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Aguilera in the 55th minute of play forced Xeneize FC's goalkeeper Mauricio Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mauricio Perrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Cristos, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the game, Zeledon Pacifico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huracan de Salta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xeneize FC the free kick. The supporters of Xeneize FC booed when Huracan de Salta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Pacifico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roque Hever recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Corrado Magno struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Clemente Quinteros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xeneize FC. Isaac Aguilera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Perrando having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Laércio Paranaense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huracan de Salta and the Xeneize FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Huracan de Salta got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Paranaense. With a little luck, Huracan de Salta's Clemente Quinteros got control of the ball when Clemente Jayvier tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Huracan de Salta getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Zeledon Pacifico hit a great ball. Corrado Magno hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Huracan de Salta's goalkeeper Clemente Quinteros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clemente Jayvier. Xeneize FC's Mauricio Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Paranaense in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Huracan de Salta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Acosta to maneuver through the defense. 98 minutes into the match, Xeneize FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Paranaense came free, but Mauricio Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Huracan de Salta fully deserved thier win.
