Spectators: 7012 (Terracing: 5325, Seating: 1632, VIP seats: 55) Dos Anclas F.C.'s Alejandro Duarte started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 minutes of play, Defensores de Lugano's Marcial Elia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgard Donato was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the match, Wlodzimierz Zbydniewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgard Donato. Dos Anclas F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wlodzimierz Zbydniewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Duarte in the 26th minute of play forced Defensores de Lugano's goalkeeper Armand Molet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimeno Cordarin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Lugano's Mariano Segio got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Duarte in the 30th minute of play forced Defensores de Lugano's goalkeeper Armand Molet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Wlodzimierz Zbydniewski came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Defensores de Lugano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wlodzimierz Zbydniewski couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes Dos Anclas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Paez. After a defensive mix-up in Dos Anclas F.C.'s zone, Amedeo Tucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Donato came out of the goal and Amedeo Tucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wlodzimierz Zbydniewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Donato read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Edgard Donato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amedeo Tucci went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 46th match minute, Defensores de Lugano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Itzaina to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcial Elia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jimeno Cordarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 56 played minutes Dos Anclas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Frasco. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dos Anclas F.C.! The referee gave Defensores de Lugano a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Amedeo Tucci, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dos Anclas F.C.'s Edgard Donato. 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Dos Anclas F.C.'s zone, Wlodzimierz Zbydniewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Donato came out of the goal and Wlodzimierz Zbydniewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armand Molet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Duarte in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Defensores de Lugano's Mariano Segio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Marcial Elia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Edgard Donato made a huge save. 79 minutes into the match, Dos Anclas F.C.'s goalkeeper Edgard Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcial Elia. In the 80th minute, Wlodzimierz Zbydniewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armand Molet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimeno Cordarin in the 84th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Alejandro Duarte notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Defensores de Lugano's Armand Molet. Armand Molet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Defensores de Lugano's Armand Molet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Cordarin in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Wlodzimierz Zbydniewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Lugano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wlodzimierz Zbydniewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Defensores de Lugano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dos Anclas F.C. throughout the match.
