Seating: 1635, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Marz got the match started through his kick off. Cuesta FC's Denis Sesuldo got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Cuesta FC booed when Cadillal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Tristan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denis Sesuldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Rios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Tomas Marz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Marz in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Rios saved Cadillal from getting behind. Remigio Dominguez struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Carolo Lohitzun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadillal. Nicasio Gasteiz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Cadillal booed when Cuesta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Etxeberri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remigio Dominguez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carolo Lohitzun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Denis Sesuldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Rios having to interfere. Denis Sesuldo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Tomas Marz came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Cuesta FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Marz couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Nicasio Gasteiz made the kick off in the second half. Cuesta FC's Carolo Lohitzun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicasio Gasteiz in the 53rd minute of play. Severiano Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Marz in the 56th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Tomas Marz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cadillal's Severiano Rios. Severiano Rios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Nicasio Gasteiz came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Cadillal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Gasteiz couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicasio Gasteiz in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carolo Lohitzun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Nicasio Gasteiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Cadillal's Severiano Rios got control of the ball when Denis Sesuldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Cuesta FC booed when Cadillal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Marz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicasio Gasteiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Carolo Lohitzun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Marz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antonio Gaitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Carolo Lohitzun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Cadillal supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cuesta FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cuesta FC.
