In the 14th match minute, Club Flandria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Epifanio Egun to maneuver through the defense. In the 15thth minute of the game Remigio Dominguez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Flandria's Evelio Martinez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The attack was good, but when Remigio Dominguez in the 15th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Leonides Gurutz struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Severiano Rios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Flandria. Leonides Gurutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severiano Rios having to interfere. Club Flandria's Danilo Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Danilo Palos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Severiano Rios to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th minute Danilo Palos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Cadillal's goalkeeper Severiano Rios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Damario. In the 31st minute, Antonio Gaitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Flandria's Leonides Gurutz got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Gasteiz was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Club Flandria's Danilo Palos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severiano Rios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 57 minutes of play, Club Flandria's Danilo Palos made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Severiano Rios was left in no man's land by his defense there! Club Flandria's Danilo Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Danilo Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Danilo Palos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Rios was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. If Danilo Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Rios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Palos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Club Flandria booed when Cadillal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Club Flandria's Teodoro Damario got a free kick in the 94th minute. Club Flandria walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
