Federico Txartiko helped the player get up and apologised. 5 minutes into the game, one of Somiriver:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Celso Columbo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 8 minutes into the game, Benjamin Rio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Somiriver's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cadillal the free kick. Nicasio Gasteiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Filiberto Ulizes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severiano Rios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Porfirio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elias Haitzs short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Severiano Rios to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Celso Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Somiriver getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Teodosio Porfirio hit a great ball. Filiberto Ulizes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Dominguez in the 19th minute of play. Severiano Rios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Haitz's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Gaitano in the 24th minute of play forced Somiriver's goalkeeper Filiberto Ulizes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Haitz took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severiano Rios. Severiano Rios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Elias Haitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Severiano Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Txatxu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Nicasio Gasteiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Ulizes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 43 in the game by Elias Haitz from a close distance when the talented Severiano Rios managed to make a qualified save. Cadillal's players were relieved. Severiano Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Haitz in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Elias Haitz made the kick off in the second half. Remigio Dominguez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Filiberto Ulizes made a huge save. Remigio Dominguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Filiberto Ulizes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cadillal's goalkeeper Severiano Rios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Haitz in the 78th minute of play forced Cadillal's goalkeeper Severiano Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Elias Haitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cadillal's Severiano Rios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Somiriver fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Somiriver's Elias Haitz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Remigio Dominguez struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Filiberto Ulizes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cadillal. Elpidio Elequemedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severiano Rios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Elequemedo ran back to his position shaking his head. Severiano Rios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Haitz in the 97th minute of the match.
