The audience thought a goal was coming when Anacleto Gil got free with Conrado Servando in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, 23 de Junio F.C's Conrado Servando got control of the ball when Silvestre Cristofol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rui Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidro Tximitx having to make a save. Virgilio Txatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Isidro Tximitx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute of the match, Anacleto Gil got a very nice opportunity to score, but Conrado Servando was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
