With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natalio Honrio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Abarca in the 17th minute of play forced Rivadavia FC's goalkeeper Natalio Honrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Çağdaş Fidan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Natalio Honrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Maximino Abarca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Natalio Honrio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elvio Alvarez went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Pomancillo FC's zone, Teofilo Olo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peker Adem came out of the goal and Teofilo Olo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th match minute, Pomancillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Sandalio to maneuver through the defense. Natalio Honrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağdaş Fidan in the 39th minute of play. Rivadavia FC's Natalio Honrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Çağdaş Fidan in the 44th minute of play. If Polat Melik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laureano Sanson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 played minutes Rivadavia FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Tipi. Elvio Alvarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natalio Honrio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. If Laureano Sanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Rivadavia FC booed when Pomancillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Unai didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Edgard Lucero fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivadavia FC's protests and gave Edgard Lucero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Edgard Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pomancillo FC played a much better game than Rivadavia FC and deserved their victory. The Rivadavia FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
