In the 4th match minute, Brazilera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Flor to maneuver through the defense. Ramiro Maxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Micael, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Diego Ubarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Ramiro Maxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Fagondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Vellito in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Quijano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Israel Belarmo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Christian Henrico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quijano's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Henrico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Maxin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Brazilera AFC's zone, Christian Henrico stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Maxin came out of the goal and Christian Henrico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Ubarna kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match Julio Hernando sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reynaldo Fagondo skillfully saved the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Quijano's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Vellito came free, but Reynaldo Fagondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aurelio Vellito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quijano were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Brazilera AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christian Henrico took the corner. The corner ended in Christian Henrico almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Brazilera AFC's Ramiro Maxin did a great save. When Quijano's Hugo Micael in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brazilera AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Quijano's Hugo Micael got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Fagondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Vellito in the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio Vellito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Brazilera AFC defense, Hugo Micael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Maxin. The Brazilera AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Maxin should have stopped the shot. Reynaldo Fagondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Vellito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Brazilera AFC's Nestor Ebardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reynaldo Fagondo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Aurelio Vellito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Reynaldo Fagondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicanor Tiniebra hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Fagondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Vellito, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 92 minutes of play, Quijano's Hugo Micael made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Maxin was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Ebardo in the 96th minute of play forced Quijano's goalkeeper Reynaldo Fagondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
