In the 7th minute Pedro Urdin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Maxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantino Lia during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brazilera AFC! The referee gave Durazno FC a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emilio Txatxu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brazilera AFC's Ramiro Maxin. 1-0. Aurelio Vellito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Roman Leheren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Paul took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roman Leheren. Durazno FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gogo Aureo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Pedro Urdin took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ramiro Maxin to make any attempt to save it. When Nestor Ebardo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Brazilera AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Ebardo couldn't finish the play. Durazno FC's Marco Joey got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Urdin made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Pedro Urdin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Durazno FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Urdin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Maxin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramiro Maxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Joey, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Desiderio Gilesindo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Ramiro Maxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Joey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Durazno FC's zone, Aurelio Vellito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Leheren came out of the goal and Aurelio Vellito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brazilera AFC! 76 minutes into the match, Pedro Urdin notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Brazilera AFC's Ramiro Maxin. Ramiro Maxin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nestor Ebardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Ebardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Leheren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nestor Ebardo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Aurelio Vellito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Leheren was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Nestor Ebardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brazilera AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Ebardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 93rd match minute, Durazno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Petrigai to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Vellito in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Leheren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 98 minutes, Aurelio Vellito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brazilera AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aurelio Vellito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brazilera AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
